An Exploration of Smithills estate and Moors

This is a moderately paced hike that will take us around the greater majority of the Smithills estate. Our route will take us out to the east, as far as Horrocks Fold, and back across the moors to Winter Hill in the west. The route will also take us through Barrow Bridge, The Walker Fold estate, The Hidden Reservoir and Two Lads before we arrive back at The Woodland Trust car park.  

Please bring a packed lunch and drinks. We recommend suitable clothing and sturdy shoes or boots on all our walks.
